Melanie Kenny

Melanie Kenny is an experienced Environmental Manager currently working with the Australian Gas Infrastructure Group (AGIG) since June 2023. Previously, Melanie held various roles at Synergy from November 2015 to June 2023, including Head of Environment, Health, and Safety, where responsibilities encompassed advising site-based environmental teams and managing the Environmental Management System. Prior experience includes working as an Environmental Coordinator at Verve Energy and as a HSSE Coordinator at Western Power, with a strong focus on environmental auditing, reporting, and compliance across multiple organizations. Melanie began their career as an Environmental Officer at both the Department of Environment and BHP Billiton, managing environmental data and contractor compliance. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Curtin University.
