Chantelle Newman

Chantelle Newman is an accomplished professional in the field of diving medicine and safety education, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of THE DIVER MEDIC LTD since February 2009. In this role, Chantelle leads the organization in providing diving medicine and safety education. Additionally, as the IMCA Diver Medical Technician Course Director, business development is focused on IMCA DMT courses across the United Kingdom, Norway, and Holland. Chantelle has been the UK Area Manager and Diver Medical Technician Advisor for DAN Europe since January 2010 and is actively involved in the organization’s training committee. As the Founder and Trustee of AMTECS, a nonprofit organization dedicated to aquatic medicine and conservation training, Chantelle demonstrates a strong commitment to education and support in this field. Previous roles include General Manager at CODE BLUE NURSES LONDON PTY LTD and CEO and Editor in Chief for Diver Medic Magazine, the only digital publication dedicated to divers’ health and safety. Educational backgrounds include studies at the College of Cape Town and Metro Ambulance Service East London in South Africa.
