Divers Alert Network
Elizabeth Helfrich is a skilled paramedic and research associate with extensive experience in emergency medical services and clinical research. Currently serving as a paramedic for the Rochester Fire Department since January 2023, Elizabeth previously worked in various capacities, including a paramedic at Rockwall County EMS and MVP Endovascular Center, and served as adjunct faculty at the University of Texas at Dallas, where lectures on Emergency Medical Technician courses were prepared and taught. Additionally, Elizabeth has contributed to COVID-19 clinical research at Divers Alert Network, where data review and analysis are conducted. Educational achievements include pursuing a Doctor of Medicine at Wayne State University School of Medicine and earning dual bachelor's degrees in History and Biology from The University of Texas at Dallas. Elizabeth's international experience includes a scholarship-funded Arabic language study through the United States Department of Defense and an internship focused on clinical trials at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
