Fanghua Li

Fanghua (Fiona) Li is a Senior Research Associate at OneSkin since January 2024, bringing valuable experience from previous roles, including Research Associate II at Eat Just, Inc. where focus was on enhancing cell line performance and developing new candidates within the Cellular Agriculture Team. Prior to that, Fanghua contributed to the Shea Lab at the University of Michigan, working on innovative nanoparticle technology for transplant applications and improving stem cell functions for Type 1 diabetes treatment. Additional experiences include a Synthetic Biology internship at Kernal Biologics, participation in the iGEM Competition as a team member and Science Director, and internships providing strategic analysis at Mekanistic Therapeutics and investment analysis at NanoVest. Fanghua holds a Master of Science in Engineering in Biomedical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Cellular and Molecular Biology and Biomedical Engineering, both from the University of Michigan.
