Omid Rezanavaz

Omid Rezanavaz has extensive experience in the field of drilling fluids engineering. Omid began their career as a Junior Drilling Fluids Engineer at MI Services LLC in March 2007 and was promoted to Senior Drilling Fluids Engineer in October 2009. Omid worked in this capacity until February 2019. During their time at MI Services LLC, Omid was responsible for monitoring drilling fluids services, ensuring quality control, and actively monitoring project costs.

In March 2019, Omid joined KGDSC - MAPCO - IRAN FAJR as a Consultant Senior Drilling Fluids Engineer, where they provided expertise and guidance in their field until January 2020. Omid then returned to MI Services LLC in January 2020 as a Senior Drilling Fluids Engineer for a brief period of two months.

Most recently, Omid joined Dana Energy in April 2020, initially serving as a Senior Fluids Engineer and later being promoted to the position of Head of Drilling Fluids in January 2022. In their current role, they are responsible for managing drilling fluids operations, overseeing the quality control of on-site services, and managing the tender process and cost calculations for drilling projects. Omid also conducts feasibility studies to identify ways to reduce the total cost of drilling fluids in projects.

Throughout their career, Omid has gained comprehensive experience in managing drilling fluids operations, quality control, tender documents preparation, project cost calculations, and proposing mud programs for drilling projects. Omid has also demonstrated expertise in conducting feasibility studies to optimize project costs.

Omid Rezanavaz received their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Azad University (IAU) between 1999 and 2003. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications. These include the PMI Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP) certification from PMPiran in June 2023, the PMP® Certification Training Course from PMPiran in February 2023, the IWCF Level 4 certification from Fan Afarin Pars Kish in November 2022, and the Mud School certification from MI Services LLC in March 2008.
