Aaron Thorner

Aaron Thorner, Ph.D., serves as the Associate Director and Principal Scientist at the Center for Cancer Genomics at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, leading strategic planning and overseeing a $3 million budget. With a strong background in cancer genomics, Thorner has previously managed genomics projects, supervised teams, and conducted postdoctoral research on Ewing’s sarcoma. Thorner also contributed to scientific communication as an Editor and Reviewer for American Journal Experts and wrote for Symbeo Healthcare Communications. Thorner earned a Ph.D. in Genetics and Molecular Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from the University of New Hampshire. Notably, Thorner received the Aid for Cancer Research Fellowship from 2011 to 2013.
