James Lindsay is a seasoned data scientist and software architect currently serving as the Associate Director of the Knowledge Systems Group at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute since September 2015. Previously, James founded Smpl Bio from 2013 to 2015, where the focus was on developing extensive biomarker and predictive model selection frameworks utilizing various machine learning techniques. James also contributed as a Research Assistant at the University of Connecticut from June 2007 to December 2013 while pursuing a PhD in Computer Science, and held an early role as a Software Engineer at NEOS & Vgo Software, Inc. from June 2005 to July 2007. James holds a PhD in Computer Science (2015), an MS in Computer Science (2009), and a BS in Computer Science and Engineering (2007), all from the University of Connecticut.
