Jodi Hyer

Jodi Hyer serves as the Lead Senior Science Writer/Proposal Writer at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute since January 2022, with prior experience at Noonday Collection as an Ambassador, advocating for fair-trade fashion and building artisan partnerships across multiple countries. Jodi's background includes teaching as an Adjunct Faculty member at Endicott College, freelance editing for scientific manuscripts, and coordinating communications for WomenCraft Social Enterprise. Jodi has also contributed to the biotechnology field through science writing for Nature Biotechnology and conducted cancer research as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Sanford-Burnham Medical Research Institute. Jodi holds a PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the Medical University of South Carolina, alongside a BS in Biology from the College of Charleston and a BA in Psychology from Wake Forest University.
