John Quackenbush

John Quackenbush is a prominent academic and researcher with extensive experience in biostatistics, bioinformatics, and computational biology. Currently serving as Professor and Chair of the Department of Biostatistics at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and in various roles at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard University, John Quackenbush focuses on transforming data into knowledge to enhance human health. As a founder and Board Chair of Genospace, John Quackenbush contributed to developing information ecosystems for genomic medicine. With a background in functional genomics and bioinformatics, John's editorial expertise was demonstrated through roles as Editor-in-Chief at Elsevier and Associate Editor at Bioinformatics. John Quackenbush holds a PhD in Theoretical Particle Physics from UCLA and has conducted research at prestigious institutions, including Stanford and The Salk Institute.
