Lauren Brais

Lauren Brais currently serves as the Associate Director of Clinical and Translational Research in GI Oncology at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, a position held since June 2011, where strategic oversight of the GI clinical and translational research program is provided. Prior roles at the institute include Senior Translational Research Manager, where oversight of the biospecimen and translational research program was conducted, as well as positions as Translational Research Manager II, Translational Research Manager I, Senior Research Data Specialist, and Research Data Specialist, primarily focusing on patient consent and biospecimen collection for gastrointestinal cancer research. Previously, Brais worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, assisting in research aimed at improving hand washing compliance in intensive care units. Brais holds a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Tufts University School of Medicine and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics/Pre-Medical from the College of the Holy Cross.
