Layla Horwitz

Layla Horwitz is a Clinical Research Coordinator at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, focusing on clinical trials for multiple myeloma since September 2024. Prior experience includes a Research Trainee role at Genomes2People, where involvement in NIH-funded research and clinical trial coordination occurred, along with time as an Inpatient Volunteer at Boston Children's Hospital, where direct patient interaction and support were provided. Layla co-led the Tufts University Chapter of Project Sunshine, organizing service events for children with medical challenges, and worked as a Medical Scribe in pulmonology at ScribeAmerica. Prior roles also include research assistance at UCLA Health, participation in virtual biology research at Tufts University, and tutoring underserved students with Reading Partners. Layla holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biopsychology from Tufts University and has gained diverse volunteer and research experience throughout academic and professional pursuits.
