Maritza Nassif

Maritza Nassif is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in patient and family services, currently serving as the Director of Centers for Patients and Families and Volunteer Services at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute since January 2015. Maritza has held various roles at the institute, including Manager of Volunteer Services and Patient Programs, along with Program Manager and Coordinator for Patient and Family Programs. In addition to this role, Maritza is an Adjunct Professor at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, teaching multiple Psychology and HealthCare Management courses. As a Board Member at Large for the Cancer Patient Education Network, Maritza contributes to the mission of advancing cancer education. Maritza began a career in healthcare through internships and volunteer work at Boston Children's Hospital. Maritza holds a Master of Education from Emmanuel College, attained in 2018, and a Bachelor of Arts in Counseling and Health Psychology from the same institution, completed in 2017.
