Shaina S.

Shaina S. is an experienced professional in billing compliance and health information management, currently serving as a Billing Compliance Manager at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute from February 2020 to July 2025, where responsibilities include managing billing compliance education and auditing. Previously, Shaina held the position of Billing Compliance Educator, focusing on developing training materials. In addition, Shaina served on the Massachusetts Health Information Management Association (MaHIMA) Board as Chair for Member Engagement from November 2023 to June 2024 and as a Student Board Member. Prior experience includes roles at UMass Memorial Medical Center as a Charge Description Master Specialist and Coding Specialist, as well as an internship with Dr. Nancy Berube, MD. Shaina is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Management, Health Information Management at Fisher College, following an Associate of Science in Health Information/Medical Records Technology.
