Dirk Taylor

Dirk Taylor is a seasoned professional with over 40 years of experience in manufacturing technology and team building, currently enjoying retirement since April 2022. Prior to retirement, Dirk served as a Senior Manager of Operational Excellence at Dana Holding Corporation, where responsibilities included leading cross-plant operational improvement initiatives across North and South America, Asia, and Europe, as well as contributing to the Operational Excellence Handbook. Earlier roles at Dana involved managing operational excellence and lean manufacturing efforts, providing valuable technical leadership in various capacities, including engineering and advanced manufacturing. Dirk's career also includes significant positions at Cummins Inc., where accomplishments such as improving productivity and managing P&L for a subsidiary were achieved. Dirk holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
