Constantin Kappel

Constantin Kappel is a seasoned professional in AI engineering and microscopy, currently serving as a Senior AI Engineer, Image Intelligence at Danaher Corporation since May 2025, where expertise in biology and microscopy is applied to develop advanced imaging intelligence solutions. Prior to this role, Constantin spent 18 years at Leica Microsystems, progressing from European Field Support Specialist to Manager AI Microscopy & Insights, where leadership was demonstrated in advanced image analysis and modular AI platform development. Additionally, as Global Product Manager, successful product launches included a groundbreaking photon counting hybrid detector and the SP8 confocal platform.
