Peng Yong Sim

Peng Yong Sim is a seasoned IT executive with extensive experience in cybersecurity and IT leadership across the Asia-Pacific region. Currently serving as the Senior IT Director and APAC Regional Security Officer at Danaher Corporation, Peng Yong Sim oversees cybersecurity initiatives, develops regional strategies, and leads security compliance efforts. Previous roles include Senior Director of Information Technology at Cytiva, overseeing IT operations for the Life Science Group in China and APAC, and Senior IT Director at SCIEX, where a greenfield IT organization was established in Asia. Additional experience includes managing IT systems at Volvo Construction Equipment and Motorola, along with a strong foundational background in IT consultancy and management dating back to the mid-1990s. Peng Yong Sim holds a 1st Class Honors degree in Computer Science from the National University of Singapore.
