Rui Hu

Rui Hu is a Senior AI Scientist at Danaher Corporation since February 2025, with previous experience as a Staff Data Scientist at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, where machine learning models were developed for clinical decision support tools and scalable pipelines were implemented using Azure Machine Learning. Prior to this, Rui served as a Senior Data Scientist at Gene By Gene, contributing to the development of algorithms for genetic data analysis, and as a Research Assistant at the University of Houston's Biomedical Imaging Lab, focusing on image processing and pattern recognition. Rui's earlier research experience includes work at Beihang University, exploring statistical models and algorithms for remote sensing applications. Rui holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Houston, a M.S. from Beihang University, and a B.S. from Fuzhou University.
