Rory Beard

Rory Beard is a seasoned professional in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning, currently serving as a Senior Applied Scientist at Unlikely AI since May 2024. Previously, Rory held the position of Senior ML Research Engineer at CoMind from July 2020 to June 2024, and worked as an AI Research Scientist at Babylon Health for a year. Starting a career as a Machine Learning Research Scientist at Emotech LTD from August 2017 to June 2019, Rory has developed a strong background in AI research and applications. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Machine Learning and a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Engineering Science, both obtained from the University of Oxford. Earlier education was completed at Portsmouth Grammar School between 2001 and 2008.
