Michelle Lea

Michelle Lea, PA-C, is an experienced emergency medicine practitioner currently serving as an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant at Danbury Hospital since February 2023. Additionally, Michelle is the Director of Clinical Education at the University of Bridgeport, having previously held the position of Coordinator of Clinical Education at the same institution from March 2021 to January 2022. With a robust background in the US Navy from 2001 to August 2021, Michelle directed the Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant Fellowship and provided primary care in combat zones, managing trauma cases independently. Notably, Michelle served as a Clinic Supervisor at The White House from March 2014 to May 2017, delivering medical care to high-profile individuals including the President and the Vice-President, while also acting as Tactical Medical Officer for emergency medical responses. Michelle holds a Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and furthered medical training at the Naval Medical Center San Diego.
