Kristen Rasmussen

Kristen Rasmussen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in international development and gender mainstreaming. Currently serving as Senior Advisor for US Partnerships at Folkekirkens Nødhjælp (DanChurchAid) since August 2012, Kristen has held multiple leadership roles including Country Director and Head of Program. Previously, Kristen worked at the International Women's Development Agency as a Project Coordinator, where responsibilities included coordinating a gender-focused mine action project, conducting research on land use dynamics, and training community members and local government partners. Additionally, Kristen served as Assistant to the Director of Programming at Church World Service, supporting senior leadership and overseeing intern activities while fostering partnerships with local NGOs. Kristen holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy Analysis from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor’s degree in East Asian Studies from Indiana University Bloomington.
