Mike Semansky

Mike Semansky is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Senior Strategy and Public Affairs Director for D2L since July 2020. Prior to this role, Mike held various key positions, including Director of Communications for the Ontario Ministry of Heritage, Sport, Tourism and Culture Industries, and Manager at StrategyCorp Inc., where strategic communications and government relations were pivotal components of the work. Additional experience includes serving as Director of Communications and Senior Communications Advisor in the Ontario Ministry of Education, and as Senior Advisor in Cabinet Office Communications, where Mike provided counsel across multiple ministries. Educationally, Mike holds an Honours Arts degree in Political Science from Wilfrid Laurier University, obtained in 2001.
