Ryan Goessl

Ryan Goessl is a seasoned software developer with extensive experience in full-stack development and leadership roles. Currently employed as a Senior Software Developer at D2L since October 2023, Ryan has previously held positions at Shopify, Amazon, and as a Software Developer at D2L, where key contributions included technical design for a learning management system. Ryan co-founded Site2Site through the University of Waterloo Velocity program, serving as the technical lead and overseeing architectural decisions. Earlier career highlights include leading the development of in-house software for Snyder Construction and gaining foundational experience as a Junior Web Developer at Target Directories Corp. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, completed in 2018.
