Ross Bierbryer

Ross Bierbryer has a strong background in engineering and leadership roles. Ross is currently the Head of Engineering at Dandelion Health since December 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Compass where they held the positions of Senior Director Of Engineering from September 2021 to December 2022, and Director Of Engineering from October 2018 to September 2021. Before Compass, Ross co-founded VeryApt in 2014, where they served as the Chief Software Architect until October 2018. At VeryApt, they developed a transit time calculator and automated the launch of new cities. Earlier in their career, Ross was the VP in Data Production Engineering at Two Sigma Investments from March 2008 to February 2014, where they led the Data Production team and built data pipelines for high-frequency trading and unstructured news datasets. Ross began their career at Microsoft as a Software Design Engineer from June 2004 to February 2008, where they developed corruption repair systems and multi-threaded sort for Excel.

Ross Bierbryer received their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Duke University, where they studied from 2000 to 2004.
