Henrik Thureson

Henrik Thureson currently serves as the Kultur- och fritidschef at Danderyds kommun since May 2023. Previously, Henrik held various leadership roles within Sollentuna kommun from January 2015 to March 2025, including the positions of 1:e vice ordf Utbildningsnämnden and Ordf för Kompetens- och arbetsmarknadsnämnden, overseeing educational and labor market issues. Additionally, Henrik was involved with Sigtuna kommun as the Bibliotekschef and was part of the Kultur- och fritidsnämnden. With a strong background in cultural administration and education, Henrik also worked as Förvaltningschef kultur in Vallentuna kommun and had teaching roles at Stockholm International School and Scandinavian School of Brussels. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Education from the Royal College of Music in Stockholm and participation in Vallentuna kommuns ledarskapsprogram.
