Reed Meyerson

Reed Meyerson is a Senior Computer Vision & Machine Learning Engineer at Dandy since March 2025 and previously served as a Senior Applied Scientist in AI - Vision at Reality Defender, where leadership of a team focused on detecting visual deepfakes was a key responsibility. Meyerson also held various research and applied scientist roles at ALGRTHM, contributing to algorithm development for sensor fusion and anomaly detection, and completed a postdoctoral position at the University of Helsinki with a focus on metric learning and geometric inverse problems. Academic experience includes a Graduate Researcher position at the University of Washington, where PhD research on geometric inverse problems was conducted alongside undergraduate teaching in mathematics. Meyerson holds a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Washington and a BA in Mathematics from New College of Florida.
