Msit Shah Islam

Shah Islam has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Shah started their career in 2012 as a Retail Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, where they increased operational efficiency and assisted with inventory management. In 2016, they became the President of Sigma Beta Rho Fraternity, Inc., managing weekly activities and coordinating events. Shah also worked as a Peer Leader at Florida State University, engaging with patrons and conducting research on study habits. In 2018, Shah joined HCA Healthcare as a Clinical Pharmacy Technician, leveraging electronic health record software and optimizing medication orders. Their most recent position is at Dane Street, where they have held multiple roles since 2019. Currently, Shah serves as the Director of IT and Infrastructure, overseeing the organization's technology operations. Throughout their experience, they have demonstrated strong skills in project management, business analysis, and technology support.

Shah Islam, MSIT, completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General, from Florida State University from 2013 to 2017. During the same period, they also pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Environmental Studies at the same institution. In 2018, Shah obtained certification as a Registered Pharmacy Technician from the State of Florida. Currently, they are enrolled in the University of West Florida, where they are expected to complete their Master of Science (MS) degree in Information Technology from 2021 to 2023.
