Ashok Kaliyaperumal

Ashok Kaliyaperumal is an experienced procurement leader currently serving as the Head of India Procurement for Danfoss's RAC Division since March 2012. In this role, Ashok manages a team focused on Category & Agile Sourcing Project Management and Cost Down Management, while also driving regionalisation and localisation to enhance the local supply chain. Previous roles at Danfoss include Senior Category Manager and Head of Cost Analysis Center, where Ashok concentrated on cost reduction for new and existing products. Earlier professional experience includes positions at Poclain Hydraulics, where Ashok was an Engineer in Sourcing, and at Harita Seating Systems Limited as a Trainee in purchasing. Ashok holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from VLB Janakiammal College of Engineering and an MBA in Manufacturing Management from BITS Pilani Work Integrated Learning Programmes.
