Blake McLean has extensive work experience in various roles in the energy industry. Blake currently serves as the Managing Director at Daniel Energy Partners starting from September 2023. Prior to that, Blake worked as the Chief Financial Officer at Wyre until September 2023. From 2019 to 2021, they held the positions of Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Ambyint. Blake also worked at EQT Corporation, where they held the roles of SVP - Strategy and Investor Relations from 2018 to 2019, and Director of Finance, Director of Tax, Planning, and Innovation, and Special Projects from 2016 to 2018. Blake began their career as a Director at Simmons & Company International in 2000, where they worked until 2016.
Blake McLean earned a BBA degree from The University of Texas at Austin from 1996 to 2000, and later pursued an MBA degree at Stanford University Graduate School of Business from 2005 to 2007.
