Alonso Espinoza Vargas has extensive work experience in various managerial roles. Starting in 2009, they served as the Financial and Administrative Manager at Danielcom Equipment Supply, where they led strategic financial budgeting and supervised audited annual statements. In 2012, they held the role of Interim General Manager at Minga S.A., where they optimized operations and redefined internal processes. Returning to Danielcom Equipment Supply in 2013, they became the Commercial Manager, achieving sales goals and preparing sales plans. In 2016, they became the Deputy General Manager at Danielcom Equipment Supply, advising the General Manager and supporting strategic planning. In the same year, they also worked as a Microcredit Fellow at Kiva.org, working with partners to alleviate poverty through microcredits. In 2019, they co-founded SOMOS HOSPITALITY GROUP, where they serve as the Co-founder and Head of Strategy.

Alonso Espinoza Vargas has a diverse education history. In 2003, they obtained a high school diploma in Social Sciences from Mt. Ararat High School. Alonso then went on to attend the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne from 2006 to 2009, where they earned a bachelor's degree in Economics and Business Administration with a specialization in Finance.

In 2014, they obtained a B License (100+ Jumps) from the U.S. Parachute Association (USPA). Finally, in 2015, they became a Rescue Diver certified by PADI.
