Jon Roman has over 30 years of work experience in sales and management roles in various companies. Jon started their career in 1984 as a Sales Representative at Wainwright Technical Sales, Inc., where they were responsible for sales and systems design. Jon then worked as a Sales Manager at Cross Electronics, Inc., where they managed the sales and production process for custom-designed industrial control systems. In 1988, they joined Mannesmann Demag Corporation as a Sales Manager, responsible for customer contacts, new business development, and contract proposals for continuous casting facilities and equipment. In 1998, they joined Siemens as a Senior Sales Manager, responsible for developing and maintaining key accounts, managing proposal activities, and coordinating multinational divisions. Since 2009, they have been working at Danieli as the Vice President of Sales, overseeing key account management, budget forecasting, and coordination of proposal activities both in North America and Europe.
Jon Roman attended Point Park University in 1990 to 1991, where they pursued Electrical Engineering. Prior to that, they completed an Associate degree in Specialized Technology (Electronics) at Penn Technical Institute in 1983. Jon also studied Electronics at Eastern Westmoreland Vocational Technical School from 1978 to 1981. Jon completed their high school education at Derry Area High School in the same year, earning a Diploma with Honors. Additionally, Jon participated in sales training at Dale Carnegie Sales in 1985.
