Alex Ruehle, CFA, has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Currently, they are the Director of Investments at Daniels Fund, where they lead the implementation of the multi-asset class investment plan for the $1.6 billion fund. Prior to this, Alex worked at American Airlines as a Senior Manager in Asset Management. Before that, they were a Principal and Senior Portfolio Manager at Segall Bryant & Hamill, where they managed various equity strategies, including the Global Large Cap fund that was recognized as a top International Stock Fund by Investors Business Daily in 2020. Alex's earlier experience includes roles at Denver Investments as a Partner, Portfolio Manager, Analyst, and Research Associate, as well as positions at Divers Alert Network and First Western Trust Bank. With their extensive background in finance and investment management, Alex brings a strong skillset to their current role at Daniels Fund.
Alex Ruehle, CFA, has an extensive education history. Alex obtained a B.S. degree from the University of Denver in 2008, majoring in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Mathematics. During this time, they also pursued additional studies in Biochemistry at the University of Otago in 2006 and Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in 2005.
After completing their undergraduate studies, Alex went on to earn an M.B.A. degree from the University of Denver in 2008, specializing in Finance and Innovation. Alex'seducational journey was further complemented by the achievement of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute in July 2012.
