Jens Peter Clausen

Jens Peter (JP) Clausen is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across several prominent organizations. Currently serving as Executive Vice President of Industry at Danish Crown since August 2025, Clausen is responsible for leading significant business transformations to enhance competitiveness and ensure long-term growth. Additionally, Clausen holds the position of Executive Vice President of Global Manufacturing at General Motors since April 2024, overseeing a substantial workforce and multiple global sites. Previously, Clausen was Vice President of Engineering at Google, driving innovation in data center technology, and served as Senior Vice President of Global Manufacturing at Zymergen, Inc. Clausen also held a key role as Vice President at Tesla's Gigafactory 1, contributing to the launch and production ramp-up of critical electric vehicle models. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in MMT Innovation & Technology and a Diploma in Organizational Leadership, both from Aalborg University.
