Tine Fischer

Tine Fischer holds the position of CEO at Det Danske Filminstitut (DFI) since August 2024 and previously served as CEO/Rektor at Den Danske Filmskole from May 2021 to August 2024. Fischer has extensive experience in the film industry, including roles as Chairman of the Board at Art Hub Copenhagen (2018 - June 2024) and board member at VEGA (2011 - December 2023) and Museet for Samtidskunst (2018 - 2022). As a co-founder of Doc Alliance Films (2009 - May 2021), Fischer contributed to the creation of the first exclusive online documentary cinema. Additionally, Fischer founded and led CPH:DOX, one of the leading international documentary festivals, from 2003 to May 2021. As CEO of Fischer Film (2011 - 2021), the focus was on art house films and international co-productions. Involved in innovative film initiatives, Fischer co-founded Propellor Film Tech Hub (January 2017 - September 2020) and served as Chairman of the Board at Føljeton (2016 - January 2020). Education was completed at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen.

Danish Film Institute (DFI)

The Danish Film Institute (DFI) is Denmark's national agency for film and cinema culture, operating under the Ministry of Culture. We allocate subsidies for the development, production and distribution of Danish films as well as international co-productions. Support programmes also extend to film education and international promotion at film festivals. The DFI includes a library, a stills and posters archive and a film archive. The DFI Film House is open to the public and houses the national Cinematheque.
