Arifa Ali is an experienced health professional currently serving as the Health Manager at the Danish Red Cross since August 2022. Prior experience includes roles as a National Consultant at the World Health Organization, National Coordinator at the Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research, and Senior Health Officer at the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies from 2018 to 2021. Arifa has also worked as a Research Associate at the Centre for Injury Prevention and Research, and as a Principal Investigator for a Tobacco Control Research Grant Program, among other positions. Educational achievements include a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from Bangladesh University of Health Sciences and a South Asia Implementation Research Fellowship in Mental Health. Additionally, Arifa is pursuing a Certificate Course in Climate Change and Public Health at the University of Dhaka.
