Dave Talbot

Dave Talbot has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Dave started their career as an Oilfield Service Engineer at Schlumberger Canada, where they performed logging in remote oilfield sites. Dave then moved on to IBM, where they worked as a Quality Engineer and developed control plans for personal system mother panel manufacturing and test. After that, they joined Ford Motor Company as a Manufacturing and Quality Engineer, where they were involved in quality planning, process engineering, and location project leadership. At Ford, they also worked as a Project Development and Planning Engineer, focusing on project development and planning.

Dave then transitioned to Continental, where they held several roles over the years. Dave first served as a Project Leader, managing technical activities and overseeing the development of central and satellite modules. Dave then became a Senior Program Manager, responsible for managing customer, application, and product design for airbag restraint electronic products. Dave later became a Purchasing SQM Manager, where their responsibilities included managing the supplier quality team and advanced product quality planning. Dave eventually became the Head of Global Quality - Body and Security NAFTA OEM's, leading customer and supplier quality with product design activities in the US and Mexico.

Currently, Dave works at Danlaw, Inc. Dave started as a Customer Program Manager, responsible for overseeing customer programs. Dave then transitioned into the role of Director of Automotive Electronics Systems Division, where they led the division and handled operations, finance, and customer support. Most recently, Dave holds the position of VP Automotive Electronics Systems Division, further expanding their responsibilities in the automotive electronics field.

Throughout their career, Dave has demonstrated skills in operations, finance, customer support, process improvement, new product launch, current model support, new business development, and quality management.

Dave Talbot's education history includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Dalhousie University Halifax Nova Scotia. Additionally, they have a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Nova Scotia (TUNS).
