Mark Goodwin has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Mark started their career at Ford Motor Company as an Engineering Technologist, where they implemented automotive instrument cluster test specifications. Mark then worked at Applied Dynamics International and Applied Dynamics Int. as a Customer Support Engineer and an Applications Engineer respectively, providing technical support to customers and developing workaround strategies for application issues. Mark also worked at Lectronics Inc as a Test Engineer/Technician, where they conducted post-production testing and troubleshooting of electronic circuit board products.
In 2006, Mark joined Detroit Diesel Corp as an ECU Software Database Manager, responsible for database management services for the Electronics Powertrain Software Development Group. Mark then moved on to Eco Wireless, LLC as a Design & Test Engineer, where they researched and created new electronic peripheral hardware systems designs. Mark later joined Hella Electronics Corporation as a Safety Test & Validation Engineer, creating and performing software safety test and validation plans for automotive brake systems.
Mark's next role was at Bosch North America as a Validation Engineer for the induction lighting business unit, before moving to Terumo Cardiovascular Systems as a Product Development Quality Engineer. At Terumo, they were responsible for investigating, planning, and implementing improvements to medical system products and manufacturing processes. Mark successfully executed verification and validation activities for design changes resulting in three successful FDA submissions.
Currently, Mark is working at Danlaw Inc as a Senior Software Validation Engineer. Mark'sprimary duties include software quality assurance validation of connected car datalogger devices and improving testing methodologies for both benchtop and in-vehicle QA software testing.
Throughout their career, Mark has showcased their expertise in software validation, quality assurance, database management, and technical support.
Mark Goodwin attended Washtenaw Community College from 1978 to 1980, where they earned an Associate of Arts (AA) degree. Mark'sfield of study focused on Electrical Engineering Technology, Engineering Technology, and General Studies. Following this, they enrolled at Wayne State University from 1986 to 1990, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology (BSET) with a specialization in Electrical Engineering Tech.
