Somashekar S

Somashekar S has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Somashekar started their career as a Graduate Engineer Trainee at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited in 2012, where they were responsible for preparing specifications, estimations, and graphical representations of projects. Somashekar then worked as an Embedded Engineer at Right Ventures from July 2015 to June 2017, where they gained a detailed understanding of data-sheets and developed and tested driver level software for embedded prototypes.

In 2018, Somashekar joined L&T Technology Services Limited as a Senior Software Engineer. In this role, they were involved in software component testing, software integration testing, and ASPICE compliance support. Somashekar utilized various tools such as Vector Cast, GTest, Gliwa, Jenkins, Plastics, Jira, Doors, and Polarion. Somashekar also performed clean build workspace and executed test cases in a Jenkins environment.

From 2021 to 2022, Somashekar worked as a Senior Software Engineer at ALTEN India. Somashekar was responsible for software qualification testing, requirement analysis, test case creation, design, and execution. Somashekar also reported defects and bugs. Tools utilized in this role included VectorCast and Doors.

Most recently, Somashekar joined Danlaw, Inc. in May 2022 as a Senior Software Engineer focusing on system validation for V2X.

Somashekar S completed their Master's Degree in Bio Medical Signal Processing and Instrumentation from B. M. S. College of Engineering, from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Technology/Technician from KNS Institute Of Technology, graduating in 2012. In addition to their formal education, Somashekar S obtained the ISTQB-CTFL certification from the Indian Testing Board in December 2021.
