Peter Ørbæk

Peter Ørbæk is an experienced media professional currently serving as a host and producer at DR - Danmarks Radio since September 2021 and as a reportage producer at Podimo since September 2019. Previously, Peter worked at Radio24syv from April 2017 to September 2019, where notable projects included co-hosting and producing the program 'Grønthøstermetoden,' and serving as producer for 'Jagttegn' and 'Fisketegn.' A documentary series, 'Før Bjørnen er Skudt,' produced during this tenure was nominated for the Prix Radio "Årets Øjeblik." Peter's background also includes roles as podcast editor for Roskilde Festival and Universitetsradioen, and a hands-on experience in education as a handwriting instructor at the University of Copenhagen. Educational qualifications include a master's degree in History and Philosophy from the University of Copenhagen, complemented by coursework in finance and shipping at Niels Brock, and a secondary education from Frederiksborg Gymnasium. Peter has also contributed to sports as a coach at Hillerød Judoklub and served on the national judo team from 2007 to 2012.
