Alonso Garcia-de-Blanes

Alonso Garcia-de-Blanes is an experienced professional in research and development, currently serving as the Senior Research & Innovation Director for Advanced Technology at Danone since January 2023. Prior to this, Alonso held several key positions at The Coca-Cola Company from 2013 to 2020, including Global Research & Development Director where leadership was provided for the global innovation agenda of various beverage categories, and Global R&D Juice Director responsible for creating a strategic innovation pipeline for juice products. Alonso's career also includes significant roles at Procter & Gamble, where innovation strategies for emerging markets were developed and executed, and earlier experience in engineering roles at Brewery Regional in Venezuela. Alonso holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar.
