Athene Ashmore

Athene Ashmore is currently the Senior Brand QFS Manager for Healthy Nutrition & Retail Brand at Danone, a position they have held since 2021. Previously, Athene worked at Alpro from 2009 to 2022 in various roles including Technical Manager and Interim Technical Manager, where they managed retail specification systems and customer KPI reporting. They also held the position of Technologist at Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd in 1987-1988 and served as a Senior Research Scientist at Campden BRI from 1993 to 1994, contributing to a European project on the cleanability of food surfaces. Athene earned a PhD in Food Microbiology from the University of Nottingham between 1990 and 1993.
