Rob McCandlish

Rob McCandlish is a seasoned professional in the fields of food safety and nutritional science, currently serving as the SN Food Safety Innovation Manager at Danone since January 2025. Prior to this role, Rob held positions at Danone Nutricia Research as a Senior Nutritional Scientist and at Nutricia North America, where Rob advanced through several roles including Senior Manager and Manager of Medical and Scientific Affairs. Rob's extensive experience includes leading training programs, developing educational resources for healthcare professionals, and overseeing various successful product launches. Rob's background also encompasses roles in the National Institutes of Health as a Dietetic Intern and Clinical Dietitian, and a strong foundation in organ transplant coordination and donor management through prior positions at the United Network for Organ Sharing and Washington Regional Transplant Community. Rob holds dual bachelor's degrees in Dietetics from James Madison University and Biology from the University of Mary Washington.
