Lars Bech-Jørgensen has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and organizations. Lars began their career in 2003 as a Værnepligtig at Den Kongelige Livgarde. In 2006, they joined Danske Bank as a Systemkonsulent for DK/GB/IE. Lars then transitioned into the political field, working as a Praktikant for Venstre, Danmarks Liberale Parti in 2008 and then as a Projektmedarbejder in 2009. Lars returned to Venstre, Danmarks Liberale Parti in 2013 as a Politisk rådgiver, where they provided political guidance and advice to party members on healthcare and welfare matters.

In 2011, Lars moved to DI - Dansk Industri and held various positions within their political division. As a Konsulent for Offentlig-Privat Samspil, they were responsible for developing DI's position on public-private collaboration, privatization, and modernization of the public sector. Lars also served as the redaktør for DI's Redegørelse for offentlig-privat samarbejde 2012 and initiated the development of their website. Later, Lars became the Fagleder for Offentlig-Privat Samspil, leading DI's efforts in coordinating between different sectors and political units. Their role expanded to include the development and formulation of DI's policies on public-private collaboration, choice, and the development of the public sector.

In 2020, Lars became the Fagleder for Offentlig-privat samspil og velfærdspolitik, overseeing DI's political interests in increased public-private collaboration, welfare policy, green and sustainable public procurement, fair competition, and the development of the public sector. Currently, Lars holds the position of Politisk chefkonsulent for DI Life Science, where they are responsible for strategic communication, policy development, and advocacy related to public-private collaboration, choice, and the development of the public sector.

Lars Bech-Jørgensen completed their education in a chronological order as follows:

From 2005 to 2008, Lars Bech-Jørgensen attended Aarhus University, where they earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science.

Lars then pursued further studies at Aarhus University between 2008 and 2011, obtaining a Master of Science degree in Political Science.

In 2011, they enrolled in a course called "Kursus i frimarkedstænkning" at CEPOS Universitet.

Finally, in 2020, Lars Bech-Jørgensen attended Danmarks Medie- og Journalisthøjskole for a brief period, completing a program titled "Strategisk kommunikation i praksis."
