Mette Finnemann

Mette Finnemann currently serves as the Director of Digital Policy at DI - Dansk Industri since October 2023. Prior experience includes a substantial tenure at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark from November 2017 to October 2023, where Mette held roles such as Director of Tech for Democracy and Senior Tech Advisor in the Office of Denmark’s Tech Ambassador. Mette was also a Fellow in the NextGen Network Transatlantic Initiative at The Aspen Institute from May 2021 to August 2022. Additional experience includes project management and assistant roles in various organizations, including KRING INNOVATION and the Embassy of Denmark in Vietnam. Mette's educational background features advanced studies at Stanford University in courses related to technology and ethics, a Master of Science in International Public Administration and Politics, and a Bachelor of Science in Social Science from Roskilde University, complemented by studies in Peace and Conflict Studies.
