Brendan Nixon

Brendan Nixon is a legal professional with extensive experience in compliance and data protection, currently serving as Chief Specialist Compliance Officer at Danske Bank since May 2020. Previously, Brendan held various roles at Sparke Helmore Lawyers, including Senior Associate, Legal Consultant, and Lawyer, alongside a volunteer position as a social media assistant and host for the VIVID post-rock festival. Additional experience includes presenting and editing an English-speaking program at Radio Nova in Oslo, working as an editorial assistant for the Oslo Law Review, and contributing to legal research on internet governance. Brendan holds a Master of Laws in Information and Communication Technology Law from the University of Oslo and has dual bachelor's degrees in International Relations and Political Science, as well as a Bachelor of Laws with Honours from the Australian National University.
