Mette Buhl Christoffersen

Mette Buhl Christoffersen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategy, diversity and inclusion, and data optimization, currently serving as Strategy Director and D&I Lead at Danske Bank since April 2019. In this role, Mette directs Diversity and Inclusion strategies for the Technology & Services division, aiming to create an equitable organization and inclusive culture. Previous positions include Squad Leader, focusing on AML data foundations, and Customer Data Optimization Team Lead, where Mette ensured high data quality for digital AML solutions. Earlier roles include Chief Consultant positions at Danske Bank and TrustWorks ApS, as well as consulting on EU GDPR compliance at NNIT. Mette began a career in social media management and community engagement with Rådet for Sikker Trafik and has a strong educational background with a Master of Science in IT and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Performance-Design.
