Kristian Majland

Kristian Majland is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in IT strategy and management. Currently serving as CIO, VP, and Head of Technology at Danske Commodities since November 2023, Kristian plays a pivotal role in the Senior Leadership Team, focusing on the development and implementation of innovative technology solutions. Previously, as Director of IT at Centrica Energy Trading from September 2017 to October 2023, Kristian led a dynamic IT department. Kristian also holds significant experience from Spar Nord Bank, where roles included CTO and Senior Project Manager, overseeing critical applications and IT operations. Early career included an IT Consultant position at Nykredit, where Kristian contributed to the development of Denmark's first online mortgage calculation engine. Kristian's educational background includes an MBA from Aarhus University and various certifications in project management and IT leadership.
