Danspace Project
Rosaly Ruiz has a diverse background in arts, operations, and administration. With experience in various organizations such as Danspace Project, BAAD! The Bronx Academy of Arts and Dance, and Bronx Council on the Arts, Rosaly has held roles ranging from Program Associate to Founder of an Art Collective. Previously, Rosaly also worked in administrative roles at NYS Office of Mental Health and Transworld Entertainment. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government at Lehman College, Rosaly's career reflects a passion for the arts and community engagement.
Danspace Project
For over 35 years, Danspace Project has supported a vital community of contemporary dance artists in an environment unlike any other in the United States. Located in the historic St. Mark's Church in-the-Bowery, Danspace shares its facility with the Church, The Poetry Project, and The Incubator Arts Project. Danspace Project's Commissioning Initiative has commissioned over 380 new works since its inception in 1994. Mission Statement: Danspace Project presents new work in dance, supports a diverse range of choreographers in developing their work, encourages experimentation, and connects artists to audiences.
