Matt Brown

Matt Brown has a diverse work experience in various industries. Matt currently holds the position of VP of Engineering at Dante Labs since August 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer in Product Development CaaS at SAP Hybris from June 2018 to September 2019.

In 2017, Matt held multiple roles at the Royal Holloway Students' Union including President of Cycling from May 2017 to August 2019, and Elected SOC Representative for Outdoor Competitions from June 2017 to May 2018.

Additionally, they served as the Careers Officer at the Computing Society from April 2017 to April 2018.

Matt was also involved in entrepreneurial activities as the Co-Founder of Prividee from July 2016 to April 2017.

Furthermore, they gained valuable work experience as a Work Placement at Connect Systems LLP from August 2015 to August 2016, where they focused on understanding customer requirements and effective communication.

Lastly, Matt completed a Work Placement at SpaceandPeople Plc in June and July 2013.

Matt Brown began their education at Lockers Park School, where they completed their Common Entrance degree from 2006 to 2011. Matt then attended Shiplake College from 2011 to 2016, but no specific degree or field of study was provided. Matt went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Royal Holloway, University of London, from 2016 to 2019. Currently, they are pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Quantitative Biosciences at The University of Edinburgh, which they are expected to complete between 2022 and 2026.
