Kathryn Bradshaw is an experienced professional in human services with a strong background in case management and quality compliance. Currently serving as a Quality Compliance Coordinator at Danville-Pittsylvania Community Services since November 2015, Kathryn has also held roles as an ACT Team Case Coordinator and an Adult Case Manager/DAP Coordinator/Hospital Liaison, focusing on the discharge of individuals with substance abuse, mental health, and intellectual disabilities from hospitals back into the community, while securing necessary housing and placements. Prior experience includes working as an Institutional Liaison at Southside CSB and as an Assistant Discharge Planner/Admissions Coordinator at Piney Forest Health & Rehabilitation Center. Danville-Pittsylvania Community Services, created in 1972 by a joint resolution of Danville City Council and the Pittsylvania County Board of Supervisors, is the Community Services Board that provides mental health, developmental, substance use, and prevention services to the citizens of our City and County. A 15-member Board of Directors, which is appointed by Danville City Council and the Pittsylvania County Board of Supervisors, establishes policy and direction for the Agency. The Board of Directors contracts with its Executive Director to lead, direct, and supervise the Agency's day-to-day operations. Today, Danville-Pittsylvania Community Services has grown to be a large employer in Southside Virginia, with nearly 300 staff members and an annual operating budget in excess of $23 million dollars. In Fiscal Year 2020, our Agency directly served more than 5,000 individuals through more than 50 unique programs in behavioral health and developmental services. Prevention services reached more than 20,000 citizens of Pittsylvania County and Danville City.
