Matthew McGarvey

Matthew McGarvey is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor with a focus on sustainable agriculture and food sectors in Asia. As co-founder of Xylem Capital, McGarvey leads initiatives to invest in companies advancing organic and regenerative agriculture across the region. McGarvey also serves as co-chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce in Central Vietnam, advisor at Antler, and mentor at GROW. Additionally, McGarvey holds the position of country observer for the Green Climate Fund in Vietnam and co-founder of Dao Labs, which introduces Traditional Chinese Medicine to Western markets. McGarvey's prior experience includes partnerships in organic seed initiatives, media management as managing director for Forbes Vietnam, and roles in corporate finance and investment banking related to agribusiness. McGarvey holds an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BA in Philosophy from Boston College.
